Democrat Ted Rights Ends Campaign for Congress, Endorses Clint Hylton

Hamilton, MO -- 6th District Democratic congressional candidate Ted Rights is officially ending his campaign for Congress. The doctor and rural Democrat, has seen an increased demand for health care in the rural communities throughout Northwest Missouri, which continues to engulf his days.
“I’m withdrawing my name and allowing Mr. Hylton to run unopposed in the Democratic primary,” said Democrat Ted Rights, “He is young and better organized.” After withdrawing his name from the ballot, Rights endorsed Hylton’s campaign.
Commenting on Rights’ endorsement, Hylton stated, “I want to thank Dr. Rights for his desire to see a unified party going into November and trusting me to defeat Congressman Graves, a decade long Washington insider.”
Clint Hylton is a small business owner from Excelsior Springs who also raises horses on his small farm in Polo with his son. He is officially the only Democrat now running for Congress.
